I suppose I have always wanted to push myself a little harder each time and try and see just to where I can go. That was the great part about cycling; you had to push yourself hard in training and even harder in big races.
After finishing university in the UK I moved to the French Pyrenees around 10days after my last exam to follow a dream to become a professional cyclist.
I 'lived the dream' for several years until a severe accident forced me stop.
After continuing to live in the area I discovered a passion for snow, mountains, adventure and pushing myself a little harder each time.
After a brief comeback racing internationally on the track I met Martin Dainty who would continue to coach me and allow me to progress to race the national championships.
After spending time with Martin and his family he spoke to me about his daughter, Molly, who has Cystic Fibrosis.
With my passion for adventure and wanting to raise money for several charities my first year of 'adventure' will be focused on raising money and awareness for Cystic Fibrosis.
